Wasabi Sushi in Brooksville

This place is more than awesome. He must have the octopus salad when you go It is to die for. The gentleman working the sushi bar are so knowledgeable and make the most beautiful dishes that are incredibly tasty.

Oh man, this place is awesome! Without a doubt, Wasabi is the best restaurant in Hernando County. I think it's amazing that we have a restaurant that is this good in our town. I love Wasabi. The food is great, and the service is great too! Everything looks amazing, and the plating is fantastic. The Sushi is to die for, and the salads are fantastic. I get the Golden Philly Roll every time, it's amazing. The Seaweed Salad is also absolutely amazing. 10/10

I adore it here. The fish is fresh and clean, its nice and quiet inside and the booths give enough privacy to enjoy your meal. The place is neat and orderly and their food is wonderful. They have an early bird special, and it has great deals, I recommend going early!

We always order take out so we dined in for a change. Absolutely blown away with the amazing service provided! My family even got to sit up at the sushi bar and watch the sushi chefs prepare our sushi rolls as we ate our hibachi.

First time here and the sushi was absolutely delicious and wait staff was very attentive. Calamari had a little too much breading for me, but the chicken tempura was delicious and so was the steak and scallops habachi.

This is a very nice restaurant. The food is wonderful. The prices are fair and the staff very friendly. I would definitely add this to my list of favorites.

First time here the other day, service was great. Multiple people were coming up to make sure we were ok. Food was nicely presented, and was delicious. Sushi was phenomenal and so was the hibachi. Vibe is also very nice. Defenitly will be going back. Highly reccomend

RUDEST staff in all of Hernando county!!!!!!!! I was argued with by a woman over the price of a lunch special, whom thought it was appropriate to mock me and laugh at me over a misunderstanding that the lunch special did not apply to takeout. you are not going to keep customers by allowing staff to talk the way they do to customers. Learn some respect, we are the ones that keep you in business! Not you’re rude staff. I would highly advise taking your business else where. I’m sure it’ll get your attention when I take it to the news how this place is ran.

I was told recently that Ivan is no longer here. The quality of the sushi is still excellent, but the attention to fine detail in the presentation was not as spectacular as it was. My Red Dragon roll had no head, carved from a lemon with salmon egg and black sesame seed eyes, like it used to. It still tasked great, but I guess I was spoiled. I miss you Ivan!Best sushi in Florida, and they have things other sushi bars don't.

Super duper. Sushi is really good, especially for Spring Hill. Don't trust the facade of the place, and just go in. The inside is pretty legit.Also, they seem to serve their sushi on epic size plates, which I've never seen before, but it didn't negatively affect the taste at all.

Everything was absolutely delicious. Soup, salad with an abundance of yummy ginger dressing, sushi (Stop Light Roll was devoured quickly), and dessert. Banana Tempura rounded out the entire experience. Could not have been more pleased with my dinner.

Edit - looks like new ownership has fixed the sink and posted pictures of their new bathroom. 👍 Food was fine... However I can't look past this bizarre restroom setup. The restaurant had used two pieces of what looks like a styrofoam cooler to mount the faucet?? Please fix this!! How do you properly clean this?

This is still one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to. I have tryed sushi at many other restaurants but they still dont compare to the amazing flavor of wasabi sushi.

Great Japanese restaurant. Truly an amazing experience. The portions on the combo plates are huge, The sake is strong . The Atmosphere is very quite and chill. Although the restaurant itself is located in a shopping mall the inside is very Very clean and classy . The best sushi place I've been to in Spring Hill

Came here a while back and the owner was a complete jerk and the place was a dump. Heard they changed owners and thought I’d give it another chance and I’m glad I did. Met the new owner himself and was kind and funny. Made good sushi suggestions to me and my wife. Our waitress was nice and food was delicious. Had a great time overall.

of course it was great before but this place has really improved since the new owner took over. cleanliness is better and maintained. the recent food presentation and quality is outstanding. the new staff of waiters/waitresses, chefs, and employees are so welcoming and kind. the new owner is always keeping everything running smoothly and makes sure you are satisfied with your experience here.

By far the best sushi bar in Brooksville. Definitely would have made reservations beforehand had I known how busy it was but worth the wait.

My husband and I had the dynamite roll, angel roll and spicy killer. Absolutely delicious paired with a glass of sake! The kids ordered chicken fried rice and salmon & shrimp hibachi with their japanese ramune. Service was a little slow but the heavenly food made up for it.

This was my first time trying sushi and became the best meal Ive ever had. I ordered and shared the Salmon Hibachi, Steak Hibachi, Snow Crab Salad, and Spicy Dragon Roll (suggested by staff) with my wife. It was the most delicious thing ever and the service provided was spectacular.

I will never come back to eat here. We asked for sushi as appetizer and we waited 45 min and we asked about it and we think she forgot . Which is no problem. It happens. But as soon as we got the appetizer, of course the food came . Again , no biggie , but what I have a problem with is literally ( ice cold) food. No exaggeration , it felt like the noodles were taken out of fridge and put on our plate. When I took a few noodles out for the server to check it because I really wanted her to feel how cold it was, her response was , would you like us to microwave it? We ordered habachi which is supposed go be cooked to orde . I was so hungry that I said fine. But I said it was not cooked to order for sur e. Then 10 minutes later, I was stuck in the bathroom getting sick. Not an enjoyable experience . Unbelievable !

Amazing sushi!! Polite wait staff and the owners, Jay and Ivan, are really nice guys! By far my favorite sushi spot. The raw salmon has so much umami flavor and the buttery white fish melts in your mouth. I recommend the cucumber salmon Naruto as an app and tempura ice cream for desert... Delish!!

Decent sushi if you don't feel like driving to Tampa

I decided to give Wasabi another chance and they for sure didn’t disappoint this time. Sushi was fresh and flavorful and hibachi was cooked perfectly. The place was very lively and our waitress was quick to meet each of our requests.
